The DP4800e offers supreme audio quality, with an all new remodelled IMPRES amplifier providing better consistency and clarity in sound than ever before. This is paired with intelligent volume control and advanced SINC+ noise cancellation, meaning call volume is automatically adjusted to take account of environmental noise, while the background interference is digitally cleaned from the signal. All of this adds up to outstanding audio no matter where you are, making the DP4800e perfect for use around heavy machinery or at large, busy events.

The DP4800e features a built-in four line colour screen, menu navigation buttons and a 12 key number pad. It provides up to 1000 channels for communication, with straightforward scanning to find one free, so is perfect for deployment amongst even the biggest teams. It supports group and private calling, so messages can be targeted at specific individuals or teams rather than being broadcast across the whole network, and can also be used to send SMS text messages.

The DP4800e makes an excellent option for coordinating and supervising big teams across a large site. It features work order ticketing and message dispatch, so tasks can be allocated and messages relayed between the right groups. It also allows users to connect to telephone systems, further extending the options for cross-business coordination.

It also supports the new IMPRES smart energy system, boosting battery life up to a maximum of 29 hours, so no one has to worry about recharging in the middle of a long shift.

The DP4800e is ideal in tough environments such as construction, manufacturing and heavy industry, with a tough outer chassis and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning it can survive being fully submerged in water. It also comes fully loaded with safety features including a system override Emergency Button, a Lone Worker monitoring system and Man Down, which uses an accelerometer to detect falls and trigger alarms automatically.

The DP4800e also features enhanced geo-location tracking, with multiconstellation support for both the GPS and GLONASS satellite systems. The use of both increases accuracy, perfect when you need to find a colleague on a large site or respond quickly to an emergency call. In addition, the DP4800e also supports Bluetooth 4.0, which can be paired with Bluetooth beacons to enable indoor location tracking. All firmware updates can be run automatically via built in WiFi.
